The competition is heating up, and the level is rising fast! For this Last Dance Africa edition of the GCB Ultimate Team 5 tournament, the structure has been carefully designed to ensure intensity, fairness, and pure spectacle. Here's a complete breakdown of the tournament bracket, divided into three decisive stages.
1. Group Stage: Time to Build Momentum
Each player will start in one of the 4 groups, using a double-elimination format. After the matches:
- The 1st place in each group will qualify directly for the final phase.
- The 2nd and 3rd place players from each group will move on to the Playoff Stage.
Goal: finish in the Top 3 to stay in the race!
2. Playoff Stage: Second Chance, Maximum Pressure
The 2nd and 3rd place players will face off in a single-elimination format, with crossover matchups:
- 2nd in Group A vs 3rd in Group D
- 2nd in Group B vs 3rd in Group C
- 2nd in Group D vs 3rd in Group B
- 2nd in Group C vs 3rd in Group A
The winners of these 4 matches will move on to the Final Phase.
3. Final Phase: The Champions’ Arena
The 8 best players (4 group winners + 4 playoff winners) will compete in a single-elimination bracket, with a random draw to determine the matchups.
At the end of this ultimate showdown, only one player will lift the trophy and be crowned Champion of GCB UT5 – Last Dance Africa!
